Fall Classes are gearing up at Grace.
“Many of us are searching for some kind of a spiritual life, even though we are not always clear about what that means. We yearn for a sense of transcendence, and yet we always come crashing down to earth. The various mysticisms make grandiose promises of enlightenment and spiritual empowerment, but there is no living happily ever after. Mundane life intrudes. Work, family pressures, practical responsibilities, hurting, and failures all have a way of breaking the spiritual mood.” Join us for Adult Bible Class Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m. as we look at the Spirituality of the Cross, The Way of the Evangelicals.

Wednesday Morning Bible Study will start on September 12 at 9:30 a.m. We will look at how the Old Testament portrays God’s seeking to reclaim His created and sinful people. He brought people of Israel out of bondage in Egypt because of His promise to their forefather Abraham. “All peoples on earth will be blessed by you.” A study of biblical feasts, established by God for His Old Testament people, enables us to better understand the Christian faith in its historical context.

Confirmation Classes
start this Wednesday, September 12 from 7-8 p.m. This year the confirmation program is transitioning back to a group class setting.

Need a Bible? Concordia Publishing House Bibles are on sale now. They are perfect for Bible studies and gift-giving. For more information, look for the sign-up sheet in the chapel.

We are seeking donations of pictures for our Anniversary Pictoral Directory, Pictures can be historical until now. Please turn them into the church office, and label your pictures with your name and number.

Through you contributions to the mission fund at Grace, we reach out and support different missions locally, nationally, and international. Lutheran Campus Ministries is the special mission for the month of September.
