Join Grace Ladies this Tuesday, November 27 as they host Virginia Markel, who will reflect on her recent tour of duty in Iraq. All are welcome, refreshments will follow.

There is no Confirmation Class this week, but the confirmation class is expected to attend the Advent worship services starting on Wednesday, December 5 at 7:00 p.m. There will be a short class immediately following the worship service. Join us at 6:00 p.m. for a “Simple Supper” before the worship service.

We are still in need of a group and/or individuals to host the “Simple Supper” on December 19 at 6:00 p.m.

Next Sunday, December 2 we will be decorating the Christmas trees in the sanctuary after the worship service. Please join us! It is also the last day to order your Christmas poinsettia.

Through you contributions to the mission fund at Grace, we reach out and support different missions locally, nationally, and international. Niagara Area Habitat for Humanity is the special mission for the month of November.

Happy Hearts Happy Homes, Ltd. is introducing Christian life coaching for mothers by sponsoring a holiday open house on December 6, 13 or 20 from 7 pm to 10 pm at 67 Walter Ave. in the City of Tonawanda. What We Learned in Sunday School Today… The account of God’s giving of the Ten Commandments to Moses is today’s Sunday School lesson (Exodus 19–20). The children will learn that “the law was given through Moses” but “grace and truth came through Jesus Christ” (John 1:17). Talk about God’s laws and how they guide us and show us our sin when we cannot keep them. Ask your children, “Who kept the Law perfectly for us?” Though we sin much, daily we have God’s forgiveness because of Christ, His Son. As a family, review the Ten Commandments.
