What We Learned in Sunday School Today… Manna, Today in Sunday School, the lesson is about the presentation of Jesus in the temple (Luke 2:22–40). Already in His infancy, Jesus was fulfilling the Law for us and for our salvation. Ask your children to tell you what happened and who was in the temple waiting to see the promised Savior. The song sung by old man Simeon is part of the communion liturgy of the Church. The “Nunc Dimittis” is sung following Communion. What does this text tell us about who we find in God’s house?
