Join us on Wednesdays for a “Simple Supper” at 6:00 p.m. before the Vespers Lenten Worship Service at 7:00 p.m. This week we focus on “The Lowly Lamb of God”

Grace 101: Discovering God’s Amazing Plan for You, has started. This class is meant for anyone that wants to join the church or get back to the basics of faith. If you missed the first weeks it’s not too late. Join us Sunday at 7:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome!

YOUTH AND THEIR FRIENDS in grades 6-12 are invited to attend our March youth event at Lasertron on Saturday, March 8 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Cost is $18 per person and includes 30 minutes of play, 1 slice of pizza, unlimited pop, and 20 tokens. You may use your fundraising money to pay for friends or they may pay for themselves. You need to tell Christi by Monday, March 3 if you want to play. If you decide not to come after the date of March 4, you still have to pay the $18.

What We Learned in Sunday School Today… Today’s Sunday School lesson is the account of Jesus and the Samaritan Woman (John 4:1–42). In this lesson we learn that Jesus gives the Spirit, who cleanses us from sin and unrighteousness in the living water of Holy Baptism. Talk with your children about how sin causes us to have guilt and shame before God. Emphasize that through the Water and Word of Holy Baptism all guilt and shame are removed. Talk about Jesus coming for all people, no matter what race or color they are. Point out that ordinary water leaves us thirsting for more, but the living water of Jesus, which flows from His Word and the font of Baptism, quenches our spiritual thirst forever.
