The last Wednesday Simple Supper is “Potluck.” Bring a dish to pass and join us on at 6:00 p.m. before the Vespers Lenten Worship Service at 7:00 p.m. This week we focus on “The Lamb of God Who Suffered Scorn”

Ladies, mark your calendars. The Niagara Zone LWML Spring Gathering will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lockport, on Saturday, April 26.

Through you contributions to the mission fund at Grace, we reach out and support different missions locally, nationally, and international. Orphan Grain Train is the special mission for the month of March.

Did you know that you can have your offerings automatically deducted from your account? It’s safe, easy and convenient. The program is called Joyful Response. Enrollment forms can be found in the chapel and the narthex, or see Jon Lehning for more information.

The Gleanings newsletter will no longer be mailed. Please remember to pick up your copy in the chapel. There is a new issue out for March/April.

The Easter Breakfast is coming up in two weeks! We need you’re your donations of goodies, i.e.-coffee cake, doughnuts, brownies etc. The breakfast is held downstairs at 8:00 a.m. following the 7:00 a.m. Sunrise Service.

What We Learned in Sunday School Today… Today’s Sunday School lesson is the raising of Jesus good friend, Lazarus. In resurrecting Lazarus (John 11:1–45), Jesus demonstrated that He can indeed raise all who believe in Him for salvation. True life is eternal life with Jesus. Talk with your children about how in this life we see and experience the effects of sin—sickness, injury, and death. Assure them that Jesus, our savior from sin and death, has guaranteed that in heaven our lives will be free of sin and its effects eternally. As a family, confess the second article of the Apostles’ Creed together.
