Youth-Our Lasertron event has been rescheduled. You can sign up even if you weren’t planning to come to the first one. Youth and their friends in grades 6-12 are invited to attend our March youth event at Lasertron on Saturday March 29 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Cost is $18 per person and includes 30 minutes of play, 1 slice of pizza, unlimited pop, and 20 tokens. You may use your fundraising money for yourself, and if it’s okay with your parents, you may use your fundraising money to pay for friends or they may pay for themselves. Youth need to tell Christi by Tuesday, March 25 if you want to play. If you decide not to come after the date of March 25, you still will have to pay the $18.
Bring donations of goodies, i.e.-coffee cake, doughnuts, brownies etc. for the Annual Easter Breakfast next Sunday. The breakfast is held downstairs at 8:00 a.m. following the 7:00 a.m. Sunrise Service.
Did you know that you can have your offerings automatically deducted from your account? It’s safe, easy and convenient. The program is called Joyful Response. Enrollment forms can be found in the chapel and the narthex, or see Jon Lehning for more information. This program makes it easier for you to be a regular, faithful steward of your gifts even when you may be sick, on vacation, or snowed under.
The Gleanings newsletter will no longer be mailed. Please remember to pick up your copy in the chapel. There is a new issue out for March/April.
Ladies, mark your calendars. The Niagara Zone LWML Spring Gathering will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lockport, on Saturday, April 26.
Through you contributions to the mission fund at Grace, we reach out and support different missions locally, nationally, and international. Orphan Grain Train is the special mission for the month of March.

What We Learned in Sunday School Today… On this Palm Sunday the Sunday School lesson covers Matthew’s account of the Passion of Christ as He ventured to the cross for you and me. The Father, the perfect, righteous judge of the universe, forsook Jesus on the cross so that the perfect, righteous sacrifice, Jesus Christ could be punished for the sins of the whole world. Talk with your children about the wages of sin (death) and the gift of God (eternal life) in Christ Jesus. Talk about the importance of relying on Jesus blood and merit rather than our own works for salvation as you consider Luther’s explanation to the second article.
