September 27th, 2008 Posted in NewsGrace Ladies Annual Flea Market and Bake Sale will be held on Saturday, October 4, from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and allows us to purchase things for the church and support projects throughout the year. Flea Market items may be dropped off at the church this week. Baked goods can be dropped off on Friday evening from 5-7 p.m.
Youth in grades 7-12 are invited to enjoy the Haunted Hay Ride at Becker Farms and then hang out at a bonfire on Friday, October 17. Meet at church at 5:45 p.m. to carpool up or be at Becker Farms at 6:40 p.m. The cost for this event is $12. We are looking for families to bring the ingredients for s’mores. Youth should bring a flashlight. Adults who just want to hang out at the bonfire will need to pay $5 each.

What We Learned in Sunday School Today… At the Jordan River, led by Joshua, Israel leaves the desert in this week’s Sunday School lesson “Entering the Promised Land.” In Baptism, led by Christ, we leave behind the desert of sin, death, and Satan so we may enter into the promised land of heaven. Parents might ask, “What did the Israelites create to remind them of their crossing into the Promised Land? What do you have to remind you of your Baptism?”
