Christmas Wreaths are here. Find Christi in the church garage to pick yours up. There are no extras so if you didn’t pre-order, it’s too late.
Grace Ladies:
- A wine and cheese party at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 25. All women are invited, come and bring a friend.
- Save the Date! Our annual Christmas party is Tuesday, December 9 at 6:00 p.m. Join us for food, fellowship and of course singing! Look for the sign up sheet coming soon to the booknook.
Thanksgiving Eve service will be held on Wednesday, November 26 at 7:00 p.m. Advent Midweek Services will begin on Wednesday, December 3 at 7:00 p.m. with Simple Suppers at 6:00 p.m. The Elders are hosting the first supper on December 3. We are looking for groups and/or individuals to host the “Simple Suppers” on December 10 and 17.
Today is the deadline for ordering the combined cookbook/Christmas CD available from the Niagara Zone Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. Contact Erika Tuscher for details. Your support is encouraged to help the Zone send their delegate and other interested members to the June 2009 National LWML Convention in Portland, OR.
Through you contributions to the mission fund at Grace, we reach out and support different missions locally, nationally, and international. Niagara Area Habitat for Humanity is the special mission for the month of November.
What We Learned in Sunday School Today… Today’s Sunday School lesson involved the well-known story of David and Goliath. As David slew the giant Goliath, so Jesus, our David, slew the jeering giants of sin, Satan, and death with the weapon of His own death. Discuss, “How could David approach his battle with Goliath confidently? How can we face the ‘Goliaths’ in our life with confidence?”
