Our congregational Self-Study & Calling Team meets tomorrow, Feb 9, at 6:30 p.m. We give our thanks to 22 fellow members who have helped and those who filled out the various surveys/questionnaires. All input was helpful in finishing the final document. The completed Self-Study document is being sent to our Eastern District President! Thank you all for your help and on-going prayers for the mission & ministry of Grace Lutheran Church!
YOUTH- We have 21 NU men’s basketball tickets for today’s 2:00 p.m. game. Either meet at the church at 1:00 to carpool or meet us at the game. Also, there is a Youth meeting after church next Sunday to make plans for future events. Bring $3.00 and a drink so we can eat while discussing ideas.
Sunday School Staff meeting will be next week Feb. 15 following worship. Meet in the Lounge for a light lunch and lesson preparation led by Pastor B.
Interested in learning about, reviewing, the basics of the Christian Faith and the Lutheran Church? Do you have a friend who is interested in Adult Confirmation instructions? Contact Pastor B at any of the phone numbers listed on the front of the bulletin! He would like to start a class soon! Thank you!
Through you contributions to the mission fund at Grace, we reach out and support different missions locally, nationally, and international. Carolyn’s House is the special mission for the month of February. Carolyn’s House is shelter for homeless women and children who are in need of long-term, transitional, supportive housing. Located at 542 Sixth Street, Niagara Falls, NY and is owned and operated by the YWCA of Niagara.
