March 6th, 2009 Posted in UncategorizedCREATING OUR FUTURE discussions start this Tuesday, March 10th at 6:30pm. The next two gatherings are set for Saturday, March 14 at 10:00 a.m. and next Sunday, March 15, right after worship (about 11:45pm). We anticipate good turnouts for all gatherings as we work together!
There will be Pastoral Call Committee Meeting at 11:30 a.m. following the Worship Service today. This meeting is open to anyone and everyone; even if you have not indicated before that you would like to be involved.
New Member Instruction will begin this Tuesday, March 10 at 4:30 p.m.
No reservations are needed. If you are interested or know of someone who is, please invite them to attend.
THANK YOU to the Youth for sponsoring the “simple supper” last Wednesday. This Wed., March 11th the Elders will sponsor the “simple supper” at 6:00pm. Come. Bring a friend! Worship with us at 7pm too!

The 9:00a.m. Sunday Adult Bible class is discussing “Great Chapters in the Bible!” There is room for YOU! Come!
Our Penny War is continuing through Easter. Sunday School students are collecting change. Pennies earn them points, and they can put silver coins in other class banks to take away points. The winning class receives a reward. The total collected will be used for a mission project through Lutheran World Relief. Adults wishing to participate may do so by giving change to a Sunday School student, or placing change in containers available in the chapel and narthex. Your help is appreciated!
First Trinity Lutheran Church on Niagara Falls Blvd. is offering a half day Caring Ministry Workshop sponsored by Stephen Ministries, on March 28th. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and the workshop ends at 1:00 p.m. It will feature: Ministering to those experiencing grief, an introduction to the Stephen Series System of Lay Care Giving and how to Care in a Distinctively Christian Way. It is a great opportunity to receive hands-on ministry training-and to learn more about Stephen Ministry. Cost of the workshop is $15 per person or $50 per congregation for a group of four or more.
