Reminder: The blood pressure clinic originally scheduled for last Sunday will be held today in the chapel after the worship service.

Many thanks to all who provided flowers for the Sanctuary and Altar for Easter—and gave them to the home-bound too!

Members are asked to inform the church office, pastor or an Elder whenever a family member is hospitalized. It helps us all care for each other!

All worshippers are asked to please sign the attendance booklet in the pew.

As part of “Creating Our Future” members and friends of Grace Church are invited to take part in a “Prayer Summit” — a special time of quiet meditation & prayer – next Sunday April 26th, 2-4 pm. Suggested prayers will be available as we ask God’s guidance for the present & future. Come and pray for a short time or as long as you desire. Thank you!

As part of “Creating Our Future” there is a meeting scheduled for tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. for the “Influencers” of Grace Lutheran Church. Those requested to attend have been notified.

Looking ahead as we continue “creating our future,” please plan to be with us on each of the Sundays in the coming weeks leading to our RE-COMMITMENT SUNDAY on May 10th. Our united efforts in Jesus’ name will be a blessing to many!

The 9:00 a.m. Sunday Adult Bible class led by Pastor B. is discussing “Great Chapters in the Bible!” There is room for YOU!

Grace Lutheran Church has received an invitation to attend the 90th birthday party of Pastor Herfurth, which is being held in Florida on Saturday, May 2. Please stop by the glass bookcase in the Chapel to sign his birthday card from the members of Grace.

Grace Youth & Friends, this Saturday, April 25, is the Annual Niagara Beautification Project beginning with breakfast at 8 am then clean up at 9 am. We will be cleaning in our church neighborhood as in the past. After clean-up we are invited to join in the picnic at Hyde Park at 12:30 p.m. If you are interested in joining, please see Pam Simcox.

What We Learned in Sunday School Today… Today we studied “Jesus Reinstates Peter.” We are all like Peter in our words and actions, denying our Lord and weeping bitterly over what we have done. We are in need of the same comfort that Peter received—the comfort of sins forgiven and the assurance that even though we are faithless, Jesus will remain faithful. You might discuss, “How did Peter express his sorrow and repentance? What specific directions did Jesus give to Peter?”
