Announcements for the week of August 9, 2009

We are going to order magnetic nametags to help us get to know each other better. The cost is $4 each, (donations gratefully accepted). Let us know how you would prefer your name tag to read on the sheet located at each exit. Note: magnetic nametags are not recommended for those with pacemakers. We can also get a clip style, so be sure to let us know if you would prefer the clip style nametag. Please call (283-1843) or email secretary@gracenf.org the church office with any questions.

The Prayer Group will meet in the lounge after the worship service today.

Many exciting things are happening at Grace this fall and the deadline for the September issue of the Gleanings is this week! If you have any information that you would like included, please contact the church office by email secretary@gracenf.org or contact Bev Mills at 297-2339.

Niagara Zone Lutheran Women’s Missionary League will host a potluck picnic supper at Grace this Tuesday, August 11th, with gathering at 6:00 and eating to begin at 6:30 p.m. All Women are invited (friends and spouses, too). Bring a dish to share. Following supper, Zone delegate, Judy Ondak, will share information about the June National LWML Convention and announce the new grants for the next biennium to be funded with voluntary offerings in LWML Mite Boxes.

DVD Slide Show of Vacation Bible School-Will be shown after worship services during coffee fellowship in August. Come see all fun we had during our week of VBS. Thanks again to all those who participated – staff and students. GOD’S ALWAYS DOING GREAT, EXCITING THINGS!!!

Are you good with computers? The church office is looking for someone to be our “webmaster” and maintain the church’s website. If this is something you might like to do, please contact the church office at 283-1843.

Through your contributions to the mission fund at Grace, we reach out and support different missions locally, nationally, and internationally. Eastern District Scholarship Fund is the special mission for August.
