Rally Day is next Sunday, September 13th We will be celebrating with a Chiavetta’s Chicken BBQ. Tickets will are available before and after worship or thru the church office. Presale tickets are $8, tickets at the door will be $9.00. Salads will be provided with the meal, but finger desserts are needed. i.e. (cookies, cupcakes, brownies, etc.) Plan to join us and make this a successful fundraiser for Grace!

Concordia Publishing House is offering special pricing on the new Lutheran Study Bible to be released on Reformation Day. There is a sampler with pricing information on the chapel.

We are going to order magnetic nametags to help us get to know each other better. The cost is $4 each, (donations gratefully accepted). Let us know how you would prefer your name tag to read on the sheet located at each exit. Note: magnetic nametags are not recommended for those with pacemakers. We can also get a clip style, so be sure to let us know if you would prefer the clip style nametag. Please call (283-1843) or email secretary@gracenf.org the church office with any questions.

Grief Share, a grief recovery support group for adults, began Sept.
3, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursdays for 13 weeks, at St. Peter Lutheran
Church- Northridge, 4169 Church Rd., Lockport. There is a $10
workbook fee. Call the church at 433-9014 to sign up. It’s still not too late to join!

You are invited to attend the opening service for the 34th academic year at Concordia Lutheran Theological Seminary, on Sunday, September 13th, at 4:00 p.m. The service will be held in the seminary’s Martin Luther Chapel, 470 Glenridge Ave., St. Catharines. In addition to honours to be given to returning students, Rev. Murvyn Kentel will receive the Emeritus Crucis award. If you cannot attend, please pray for the students as they begin their studies, for the seminary faculty that they may be faithful in their calling, and for God to raise up benefactors for our seminary whose gifts will ensure that this important work continues.
