Announcements for the week of October 4, 2009
October 2nd, 2009 Posted in UncategorizedThere will be a Voters Meeting right after church today. The first agenda item is a recommendation to resurface the parking lot. The second agenda item is a recommendation to reallocate funds within the current budget. Please stay and help with these important decisions.
Our nametags have arrived! Look in chapel to pick yours up. There will be a box in the narthex and one in the chapel to leave your nametag after worship (if you wish). The Craft Ladies have volunteered to put them back in alphabetical order for the next week so that you can easily find your name. If you use the front door your nametag will be there and if you use the parking lot door your nametag will be there waiting for you. If you forgot to order one, there is a sign up sheet in the narthex and the chapel for the next order. Let’s get to know one another!

What We Learned in Sunday School Today… This Sunday, the Sunday School lesson studied “God Provides for Elijah.” Just as God provided food and life for Elijah, the widow, and her son, so He provides food, forgiveness, and life eternal for us in Christ. Consider asking, “How did God provide food for Elijah? In what ways does God provide for us today?”
