Announcements for the week of January 31, 2010

If you are considering making a donation to the relief efforts in Haiti and are a Thrivent member, please be aware that Thrivent is matching your donation at 50% ($1 for every $2 donated). Checks can be sent to Lutheran World Relief, PO Box 17061 Baltimore, MD 21298 or you can donate on line at www.lwr.org. Your donation will automatically be matched by Thrivent if you are a member.

Please sign up for a nametag if you haven’t gotten one already. The sheet is located on the glass cabinet in the chapel. The cost is $4 each, (donations gratefully accepted). Let us know how you would prefer your name tag to read on the sheet located at each exit. Note: magnetic nametags are not recommended for those with pacemakers. We can also get a clip style, so be sure to let us know if you would prefer the clip style nametag. Please call (283-1843) or email secretary@gracenf.org the church office with any questions. The next order will be going in shortly.

Through LCEF Joyful Response program our church can receive electronic payments directly from personal bank accounts or LCEF Steward Accountants. It’s simple, safe, convenient, and makes it easy to be a faithful servant when you are sick or the weather is bad. Interested? Talk to Jon Lehning.

The Youth are selling discounts cards for area businesses. The cards are only $10 and can be used thru January 2011. There are 23 area businesses that can be used over and over again, so the card literally pays for itself! Cards are available before and after worship. Help support our Youth!

The flower chart for 2010 is up in the narthex. If you would like to purchase flowers for the altar, simply write your name on the line corresponding to that Sunday. A centerpiece is $33.00 and two vases are $45.00, which can be shared with if you would like.

We are in the process of preparing the 2010 Church Directory and have lost contact with some of our fellow church members including Chrissy Adams, Nicole Corsaro, Christina Luick, Aaron Price, Krystal Satterfield and Christa Vout.
