February 5th, 2010 Posted in UncategorizedThere will be a Congregational Voters’ Meeting following the worship service on February 21. We will vote on lighting for the sanctuary and also nominate synodical officers. Please plan on attending.
Lent is coming up starting with Ash Wednesday, February 17. We will be having our Simple Suppers again starting the following the week February 24 at 6:00 before the 7:00 pm Worship Service. We are looking for groups and/or individuals to host the suppers. If you would like to help out, please contact the church office at 283-1843.
The Youth are selling discounts cards for area businesses. The cards are only $10 and can be used thru January 2011. There are 23 area businesses that can be used over and over again, so the card literally pays for itself! Cards are available before and after worship.
The order for nametags will go in at the end of the month. If you would like to order a nametag, please see the sign up see on the glass case in the chapel area.
Through your contributions in your monthly mission envelopes, we are able to reach out and support different missions locally, nationally, and internationally. Our mission envelopes for February will be donated to La Santa Cruz Mission church in Buffalo. Like our January mission church Hanahiah, La Santa Cruz is located in an inner city area of Buffalo and is involved daily in meeting the needs of a struggling neighborhood. Your donations will help their members reach out to those in need with the good news of our Savior.
