There is a sign up sheet on the glass case in Chapel for the Annual Ascension Day Chicken BBQ. Chicken and beverage will be provided, we need donations of salads and desserts.

Grace Lutheran Church received a thank you note from La Santa Cruz Lutheran Church in Buffalo NY. La Santa Cruz was our designated mission a couple months ago. is hosting an “Equipping to Share” workshop, presented by Lutheran Hour Ministries on Saturday, May 22nd. This workshop trains Christians to be comfortable in sharing their faith with others. It will be helpful to the men, women and children of every congregation. The cost of the workshop is $5 per person. Lunch will be served and child care will be provided. Thank you for your support – Our Chiavetta’s Chicken BBQ was successful. We cooked 270½ chickens and have 18 halves left – come to the Ladies Lounge after church if you are interested in purchasing the ½ chickens or macaroni or potato salad. Thank you Coleman, Folmsbee, and Schulz families, Robert and Michael Lehning, and Ruth Kumm for working the dinner – and all who purchased tickets.

Youth RECYCLE- Please continue to bring your cans and bottles to our recycle bins near the front door and parking lot door. We will continue this thru the month of May. Thanks!!
