Announcements for the week of September 12, 2012

Confirmation Class Meeting – there will be a brief meeting after worship today, in the classroom adjacent to the parking lot, for all parents and young people who will be participating in Confirmation Class

this year.  Pastor and Mrs Sorenson will be leading a discussion on class expectations and requirements.  Parental involvement is one of the most important factors in a successful and exciting confirmation experience.  Please come and learn more about what you can do to make your young person successful.  

New Class – All high school and college kids are invited to a new get together the second and fourth Sunday of every month 9-10:15am. We will meet in the Youth room with Mr. Broeker and Mr. Crawford to talk about life, world happenings, and keeping the faith. Plus, there will be breakfast! Bring a friend!

Flea Market – Big thanks to all who donated goods and their time. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and we couldn’t do it without you!

New Bible Class – “Favorite and Little Known Bible Stories” will be discussed in a Bible Study on Tuesday evenings from 7-8pm led by Reverend Brese. Meet at church starting on October 2.

Lost and Found Concert – Lost and Found will be in concert next Sunday, Sept. 23 at Holy Ghost starting at 3:00pm. There will be no rain date, concert will be moved inside the church if necessary. Concessions will be available. All proceeds from this event will benefit Holy Ghost youth attendance at the 2013 National Youth Gathering in San Antonio, Texas.
