There will be a short meeting after the worship service today to discuss this year’s Spring Fest. If you would like to help but can’t attend, please see Les Zimmerman.
Niagara Hospice Bouquets – the bouquets on our altar this morning are placed to the Glory of God by the following individuals/families: Travers, G. Mills, Folmsbee, Brese, Kifer, S. Dixon, Schulz, Coleman, Broeker, Stenzel, Tuscher, R & K Kumm and Lemley. Thank you for your support of Niagara Hospice. You may take your bouquet home after worship today.
Sunday School Offerings – Our Sunday School offerings will be “officially” included with our congregational offerings. Instead of just dropping it off in the office, a Sunday School student will join the ushers as they take the offerings to the altar. We hope this makes the weekly Sunday School offering more meaningful to the students, families and congregation.
Loose Change Sunday – Today is our Penny War’s Loose Change Sunday. If you care to participate, you are encouraged to “lose” your change from pockets and purses onto the pews. After the service, our Sunday School students will be searching for your donations that they can add to their class banks for this year’s “war” against malaria. We are purchasing bed nets to protect children in Africa from the mosquito bites that cause this deadly disease. Each bed net costs $10
and our goal is to purchase 50 nets to save at least 50 children’s lives. Thank you for your generosity!
Special Mission – Our special mission envelopes for March are designated for the Lutheran Malaria Initiative, and will be used to purchase bed netting to protect children against the deadly disease of malaria. If you wish to support this mission, please place your donation in the Special Mission Envelope found in your envelope box. Your donations will be added to our Penny War total at the end of the month.
Young Life Dinner – If you are interested in learning more about Young Life, come join us for a dinner on March 21 at 6:15 at Classics V banquet hall. An offering will be taken. You must sign up with Dick Crawford or Justin Smith today.
Youth Lock In – Kellye Koyn the DCE Intern with Youth and Family Network (operating through Camp Pioneer) is running a lock-in beginning March 15 at 9PM and ending March 16 at 9AM.
