The Grace Ladies annual CATERED CHRISTMAS PARTY will be held on Tuesday, December 10at 6:00 PM.  $15 per person and bring a $5 gift to exchange!  A sign-up sheet is located on the glass display case.

TURKEYS & HAMS:  We will continue to accept turkeys and hams until December 15 to help Community Mission and the Lord’s Day Dinner provide a Christmas meal for our neighbors in need in Niagara Falls.  If you need help with carrying to our downstairs freezer, please ask an usher for assistance.

ADVENT GIVING TREES are now located in the chapel and narthex.  This year we are supporting several Niagara Falls agencies, including Niagara Gospel Rescue Mission, Heart, Love, & Soul, Summit Life Outreach Center, and the Magdalene Project.  If you would like to participate, please take as many tags from the trees as you would like, purchase the item(s) requested, and return it unwrapped to the tree tables.  We will continue to accept donations until January 5.  Thank you for your generosity toward our neighbors in need.

HATS & MITTENS:  In addition to the items listed on our Giving Tree tags, hats, gloves, and mittens are always needed and welcomed as we head into the cold winter months ahead.  Many children and homeless adults from our inner city areas lack these items to help keep them warm.

DECEMBER SPECIAL MISSION ENVELOPES are designated for Samaritan Counseling, a local Christian counseling agency working with all ages and all types of needs.  Your donations will help Samaritan provide free or reduced fee counseling to those who cannot afford to pay the full fee.  If you have questions about Samaritan, please feel free to speak with Pastor Brese who worked for many years as a counselor with them, or Trish Andrews who frequently refers clients to Samaritan through her work as a nurse practitioner.  Both would be glad to tell you more about their experiences with Samaritan and the great work they do.  If you wish to support Samaritan, please place your special mission envelope in the offering plate before the end of December.  (If you have signed up for the new e-giving option, you can donate to special missions online.)

TWO WEEKS FROM TODAY our Sunday School will present their Christmas pageant during our worship service, with a coffee hour to follow.  It is important that all students be in attendance at Sunday School as we practice our songs and parts.  Our only full rehearsal FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS is scheduled for Saturday, December 21, at 10:00 AM with a pizza lunch at noon for students, staff, and choir members.  (Choir members–please arrive by 10:30 AM that morning.)

GIFT CARDS:  The agencies that we are supporting with our Advent Giving Tree are always appreciative of Target or Walmart gift cards which they can use to purchase various needed items.  For those who might prefer this option, please note we have placed a box for gift card donations under each tree.  The boxes will be checked frequently and gift cards will be stored in a secure location.

Crystal Michel would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU for the greeting cards she received in honor of her 99th birthday along with the many well wishes to feel better soon.  She also appreciated the beautiful Thanksgiving coloring sheet received from the Sunday School students and staff.
