Announcements for Sunday, September 18th

WE ARE ONE FOUNDATION: The Dream Team would like to thank everyone who celebrated our 115th Anniversary with us. A special thank you to those who were available for set-up and clean-up, those who brought food, and to all those who helped cook and serve our congregation at our Rally Day Picnic.

NEXT SUNDAY, September 25, FLU SHOTS will be offered at Grace by Rite Aid after worship.  Most insurances are accepted, so don’t forget to bring your insurance card.  

SOCIAL MINISTRIES will meet TODAY after worship.  Sandwiches will be served during the meeting.  New members are welcome to join the meeting.  See Amy Folmsbee if you have any questions.

THANK YOU to Jane Brese for delivering the school supplies and clothing donated during our summer mission project.  The principal and teachers at Harry Abate Elementary School received your gifts with great enthusiasm and appreciation.  Watch for more details in the next Gleanings.

Mission of the Month: Local Lutheran education.  Holy Ghost Lutheran School has begun its 179th school year, having started in 1843.  It is accredited by National Lutheran Schools Accreditation and serves nearly 150 students and their families in classes PreK 3 through 8th grade.   Your Mission of the Month donation helps them daily bring the love of god to their community.

New Members class: Exploring the Lutheran Faith, will be offered after worship starting October 2nd. This is for anyone who would like to become a member of this congregation and it’s a great review for the rest of us. Everyone is invited. Please fill out the registration form in your bulletin if you would like to attend.”

Today, Sunday, Sept. 18th – 4-8 pm:  Grace and St. Paul, North Tonawanda will host a Niagara Circuit Youth event at St. John Lutheran Church and School, North Tonawanda.  Jr. and Sr. High will gather for fellowship and food, games and God time. See Miss Sherry or Miss Virginia for more information.
