Lasertron

YOUTH AND THEIR FRIENDS in grades 6-12 are invited to attend our March youth event at Lasertron on Saturday March 8 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Cost is $18 per person and includes 30 minutes of play, 1 slice of pizza, unlimited pop, and 20 tokens. You may use your fundraising money for yourself, and if it’s okay with your parents, you may use your fundraising money to pay for friends or they may pay for themselves. Youth need to tell Christi by Monday March 3 if you want to play. If you decide not to come after the date of March 4, you still will have to pay the $18.

Just send Christi an e-mail back, speak with me at church, or call me at 773-2255 to reserve your spot and your friends’ spots. She also has updated fundraising account totals if you want to know how much money you have earned.

Camp Pioneer Work Weekend

The first weekend in May Camp Pioneer invites youth to come and help prepare the camp for the summer. Grace Youth have participated in this for several years. We need a parent volunteer to drive and be present for the weekend. Please talk to Pastor Gaertner if you are able to help our youth participate in this wonderful servant project.

Ideas?

We are interested in your ideas for summer activities for Grace Youth. Drama team for church, swimming parties, Bible studies, movie nights, video game tournaments, servant projects, photo scavenger hunts, or other possibilities. What sounds good to you? Share your ideas, figure out good dates and times and let’s make it happen.

Who is invited? The youth and all people of the congregation. Youth who attend must be mature and prepared to work.

When? Saturday November 17. Meet at church at 9:00 a.m. Those who stay around church will be done at noon. Those who go to Habitat or to Community Mission should be done at 2:00 p.m. Lunch is included for the downtown sites.

This is our chance to be Jesus with skin on!

We want to reach out to our community and

show them the love that Jesus has shown us.
