Sliding Home – is the title of the latest book by Rev. Dr. Erwin Brese. It is 140 pages of stories from his life, the characters of the Bible and his unique parables as he takes us on a spiritual journey the shape of a baseball diamond. Pre sale orders will be taken in the chapel after worship or contact Rev. Brese. Proceeds from the book sales will go to the Samaritan Counseling Center where Pastor Brese is one of the counselors. This organization provides faith-based counseling and is available to all in need on a sliding fee scale. Counseling appointments are available at several convenient locations, including Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Wheatfield and St. Martin Lutheran Church in North Tonawanda. These will be available after worship services.
