NEXT SUNDAY is the last week to donate to our May mission envelopes, which are designated to support operating costs and help with updating facilities at Pioneer on the Lake (Camp Pioneer). After a couple of years of uncertainty, our Christian camp on Lake Erie in Angola is now debt free and ready to continue moving forward with their 75+ year legacy of Christian camping and programming. WISH LIST: Pioneer on the Lake has a list of items needed at camp this year. If you would like to support them in this way, please take a card from the wall near the parking lot entrance, purchase the item, and bring the item back before the end of May to the card table located near the piano in the chapel. We will see that your gifts get to our camp in Angola.
CHOIR will hold a short rehearsal in the balcony after worship today. The next rehearsal after today is on Wednesday, June 8, in the chapel at 7 PM.
SUMMIT LIFE OUTREACH CENTER: From now until Father’s Day, we are accepting donations of new baby clothes, diapers, and baby toiletries to support Summit Outreach. Summit is located on Pine Avenue in Niagara Falls and is devoted to helping young women who find themselves in unplanned pregnancy situations. Their “earn while you learn” program allows them to shop for needed baby items in the “Parenting Shoppe” with credits received for attendance at counseling and educational sessions. Your donations will help to stock their Parenting Shoppe.
BABY BOTTLE BANKS are available on our Summit donation tables. If you would like to support Summit in this way, take a bottle home with you and fill it with your spare change. Bottles should be returned to the church office, or to Alice Moll, on or before Father’s Day.
Summer Bible Adventure (maybe you know it as VBS) is pleased to announce that we are back in person this year, July 25th– 29th, 6-8 PM. This year’s theme is: “Treasured: Discovering You’re Priceless to God”. Registration forms are available at both sanctuary entrances.
