NEXT SUNDAY (June 19) is the last day to drop off your donations for SUMMIT LIFE OUTREACH CENTER in Niagara Falls. We are accepting new baby clothes, diapers, and baby toiletries to help stock Summit’s Parenting Shoppe. Clients of Summit can choose items from the Shoppe with credits they receive for participation in counseling and educational sessions.

EVERY DONATION OF $6 to our June Mission Envelopes supporting FOOD FOR THE POOR will feed one child for one full month! This Christian ministry serves some of the poorest people in our world in the Caribbean and Latin America. They provide basic life needs as they reflect God’s unconditional love. If you wish to support this mission, please use your June Mission Envelope or donate online under “Monthly Mission”.
YOUR DONATIONS for PIONEER ON THE LAKE have been delivered thanks to Pastor Bahr, Jane Schulz, and Wendy Coleman. We were also able to send them $850 as a result of your donations to our May Monthly Mission. Thank you for helping our camp as they get back on their feet!
MARK YOUR CALENDARS for Saturday, July 9, when Pioneer on the Lake will be celebrating their Grand Opening beginning at 3 PM. Admission will be FREE, and there will be numerous activities available, including a FREE concert at 6 PM by Christian recording artist Aaron Shust. Food is available for purchase. Bring a lawn chair. If desired, cabins can be booked for the weekend by calling the office at 716-383-6157.
UPCOMING CHURCH COUNCIL ELECTIONS: The administration of our church and congregation are important roles in the ministry of our faith.
The following positions on the church council are up for Election:
Vice-President (Incumbent Mark Andrews)
Treasurer (Incumbent Gary Krull)
Board of Education (Incumbent Lacey Bahr)
Nominations will be taken from the floor if you would like to get more involved.
The voters meeting will take place immediately following service on Sunday June 19th.
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
INVITE YOUR RELATIVES, FRIENDS, AND NEIGHBORS: Invite those little ones in your life to come to VBS and discover they are priceless to God. For some, it may be the first (and possibly only) chance they will have to hear of the love Jesus has for them! “Treasured VBS Summer Bible Adventure” is scheduled from July 25 – July 29, 6 – 8 PM each evening. All 3 years old through entering 5th grade are welcome. Registration forms are available on the glass case, or register online or by calling the church office.
