PLEASE NOTE: Please fill out the attendance sheet found in your bulletin EACH WEEK with your name and date, and place it in the offering plate. This will assist us in making sure that all of our members are being cared for as needed during our vacancy.
ALL ARE INVITED to stay after worship for pizza, cake, and snacks in the chapel as we begin the week leading up to the greatest birth in the history of the world! Thank you to our Sunday School students and staff for their help in making today’s service especially festive, and to Jane Schulz for organizing and leading the students and staff.
THANK YOU for your generous donations of turkeys and hams. With your donations and the help of a Thrivent Action Team, we were able to provide a total of 37 turkeys and hams to help with Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners at the Community Mission, Lord’s Day Dinners, Lighthouse Women and Children, and Salvation Army. Thank you also to our delivery volunteers John & Sue Loss, Ross Folmsbee, Jane Schulz, and Wendy Coleman.
ADVENT GIVING TREE: Trees are available in the chapel and narthex through the Advent and Christmas seasons. The trees are decorated with tags listing items needed by clients of Heart, Love, & Soul, Lighthouse, and the Niagara Gospel Mission. If you would like to participate in this project, please take a tag from the tree, purchase the items listed, and return it unwrapped to the tree table. All donations will be delivered in January to the appropriate agency.
DECEMBER MISSION ENVELOPES have been designated to support Help & Hope for the Homeless, Inc. This local charity was founded by Grace member John Loss with the purpose of helping a homeless individual or family receive the training and skills they require to put their lives on a path to success. If you wish to support this charity, place your mission envelope in the offering plate during December or donate online at www.gracenf.org using the “monthly mission” option.
PLEASE SAVE your old Christmas cards. There is a box on the shelf of the coatroom marked “Christmas cards”. We will be using the pictures from your cards for an upcoming project in 2023.
CHOIR REMINDER: We will sing on Christmas Eve at the 5 PM service.
SUNDAY CHRISTIAN EDUCATION will not be held on December 25th and January 1st, it will resume on Sunday, January 8th.
THE ALTAR GUILD is currently looking for members to join. The guild is run on a monthly commitment and you will be matched with a current guild member and/or trained on the weekly guild duties. Please contact either the church office or Erika Tuscher if you are interested.
The 2023 FLOWER CHART is now hanging in the narthex. Cost for a centerpiece is $47, or you can choose two vases at a cost of $60. When you sign up for a date, please find the altar flower order form outside either sanctuary entrance. Please complete the form and return to the church office no later than the Sunday before your date.
