PLEASE fill out the attendance sheet found in your bulletin EACH WEEK with your name and date, and place it in the offering plate. This will assist us in making sure that all of our members are being cared for as needed during our vacancy.
NEEDED: Please don’t throw out the Christmas cards you received this year. Used cards, or new cards you no longer need, can be placed in the box on the shelf of the coatroom marked “Christmas cards”. We will be using the pictures from your cards for an upcoming project.
JANUARY MISSION ENVELOPES are designated to support Orphan Grain Train, a Christian volunteer network that ships donated food, clothing, medical and other needed supplies to people in the United States and around the world. Since their beginning in 1992, they have delivered more than 45 million meals to those in need, provided construction materials to areas hit by natural disasters, and supported numerous projects to provide for special needs in our country and the world, such as building a mobile chapel for a Lutheran Church in Nebraska after their church was demolished by a tornado. Orphan Grain Train is a recognized service organization of LCMS. If you would like to support their work, please place your mission envelope in the offering plate during January or donate to “monthly mission” online at www.gracenf.org.
SOCIAL MINISTRIES will meet after worship next Sunday. We meet for about an hour, and a free lunch is provided (chili is on the menu). If you are interested in joining, please plan to stay next Sunday. Questions can be directed to Amy Folmsbee.
2023 OFFERING ENVELOPES are in the Ladies Lounge. Please check off your name when you pick up your envelopes. If you do not have envelopes and would like to receive them please contact the church office.
THE ALTAR GUILD is currently looking for members to join. The guild is run on a monthly commitment and you will be matched with a current guild member and/or trained on the weekly guild duties. Please contact either the church office or Erika Tuscher if you are interested.
The 2023 FLOWER CHART is now hanging in the narthex. Cost for a centerpiece is $47, or you can choose two vases at a cost of $60. When you sign up for a date, please find the altar flower order form outside either sanctuary entrance. Please complete the form and return to the church office no later than the Sunday before your date.
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION Sunday morning classes will resume on Sunday, January 8, 2023.
