Announcements for Sunday, December 17th

ALTAR FLOWERS today are placed to the Glory of God as we prepare for the birth of our Savior by the adult helpers and participants in today’s worship, and in thanksgiving for our Sunday School students and their families.

TODAY after worship there will be a reception in the chapel.  Please join us for pizza, cake, goodies, and fellowship as we continue to prepare our hearts for the upcoming celebration of Christ’s birth.

CANDY SALE:  Fowlers chocolate bars will be on sale for $2 in the chapel after worship.  All proceeds of this youth fundraiser will go toward the cost of replacing our boiler.

PLEASE NOTE:  Bible Class and Sunday School will not be held on Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve.

ADVENT GIVING TREE:  Our Giving Trees are available in the narthex and chapel.  They are decorated with tags listing items needed by local agencies that work with our neighbors in need.  It’s not too late to participate in this mission.  Please take a tag from the tree, purchase the item listed, and return it unwrapped to the tree table.

DECEMBER MISSION ENVELOPES will support HELP & HOPE FOR THE HOMELESS, INC., a local charity founded by Grace member John Loss.  This charity is focused on helping a homeless or struggling individual or family through job training and associated skills.  If you would like to support their work as they make a difference in our community, place your mission envelope in the offering plate during December, or donate online by choosing “monthly mission”.  Feel free to speak to John if you have questions.

PLEASE SAVE your Christmas cards for a future project.  There is a collection box located in the coat room near the parking lot entrance.
