NEXT SUNDAY IS THE LAST CHANCE to donate to DISASTER AID FOR STORM VICTIMS. Our June mission envelopes are designated for LCMS Disaster Response, which has been responding to the numerous destructive storms and flooding across the Midwest and Southern states in recent weeks. Thrivent will be matching $1 for each $2 donated. If you wish to support our church’s disaster response efforts, place your mission envelope in the offering plate or donate online (choosing “monthly mission”) on or before NEXT SUNDAY (June 23). PLEASE NOTE: We are ending this opportunity before the end of June because our donation has to be submitted prior to July 1 to receive Thrivent matching funds.
THANK YOU for your generous donations of baby items to support Summit Life Center in Niagara Falls. Your gifts will be packed up today and delivered to help them stock the Parenting Shoppe, where new parents can choose items they need at no cost to them. GRACE LADIES Summer Field Trip: Join us Tuesday, June 18th to go to the Aquarium of Niagara, lunch at the Red Coach Inn, and finish with a 30 min trolley ride around the Falls/Goat Island. Meet at the church parking lot at 9AM. Sign-up sheet is on the glass case in the Chapel. Please prepay the $17 for the Aquarium of Niagara to Wendy Coleman. Summer Bible Adventure (VBS) Donations: See the blue boards at each of the entrances, take a reminder sticker for each of the items you wish to purchase and return the items to the table in the chapel by Sunday, July 7th. Perishable items should be brought in that Sunday. Thank you for your help!
Decoration creation day: Our final day to create decorations for our Summer Bible Adventure is Saturday, June 22nd at 9:00am. Donuts provided.
Lutheran Braille Workers Update: Rachel Potts of LBW will lead a planning meeting for getting the Large Print Production Center up and running! Join workers from around the Tonawanda/Niagara Falls area on Sunday, June 23rd at noon in the St. Mark gymnasium. Lunch is provided. RSVP at office@stmarknt.org by June 18th.
