PLEASE SIGN UP: Volunteers are needed for this year’s TRUNK OR TREAT. There is a sign up sheet on the glass case in the chapel. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, October 19, from 3 – 4:30 pm in the church parking lot. In the event of rain, we will move inside. We need volunteers willing to participate in handing out treats from the trunks of their cars. This is a community event that has been drawing close to 100 children each year. Your help is greatly appreciated!
DONATIONS APPRECIATED: If you are unable to participate in Trunk or Treat with your car, our volunteers also appreciate donations of candy or other treats to pass out to the children. Donations can be left on the tables in the narthex or chapel. Thank you for helping!
SEPTEMBER MISSION ENVELOPES This month’s special offerings go to St. John and Holy Ghost schools. Consider supporting our two local Lutheran schools with an over-the-top donation. Both schools provide high quality education that is Christ centered, and they keep tuition at about $4,000 per child. Can we as a congregation raise enough to pay one tuition?
