MARCH 2 (two weeks from today) is the last day to donate to our annual toilet tissue collection for Heart, Love, & Soul. Toilet tissue is an item that cannot be purchased with SNAP benefit cards. It is one of the most requested and appreciated items that Heart, Love, & Soul is able to provide for their clients who need assistance. Your generosity is appreciated!
FEBRUARY MISSION ENVELOPES will support YOUNG LIFE’S local chapter. Young Life is a Christian group that offers camps, fun activities, and regular meetings designed to bring teens to the knowledge of our loving Savior. Several of our youth have participated in Young Life over the years. Dick Crawford is active with this organization and would be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding their local work.
YOUNG LIFE DINNER: There is a signup sheet on the glass case for those interested in attending this year’s Young Life fundraising dinner on March 20 at Classics V. Deadline to sign up is March 13. We will be reserving tables so that Grace members and friends can sit together. Please see Dick Crawford if you have questions.
YOU’RE INVITED! CHOIR will begin rehearsals for Lent and Easter music on Sunday, February 23, after worship. A PIZZA LUNCH will be enjoyed prior to rehearsing. New members are welcome. Please let Ross Folmsbee know if you will be attending so we can provide enough pizza.
THANK YOU for donating to our SOUP-ER BOWL project. So far we have given 192 cans of soup to Heart, Love, and Soul for their food pantry. If you were planning to donate but were unable to attend last week due to weather, feel free to leave your soup on the donation tables by next Sunday. We will make sure Heart, Love, & Soul receives your gifts. Thank you to Thrivent for their support of this project (and to Alice Moll for applying).
NIAGARA HOSPICE BOUQUETS – Today is the last day to order your $10 Hospice bouquet. Sign-up is on glass bookcase or see Jane Schulz. Ten dollars cash or check to Niagara Hospice. Bouquets will be on our altar Sunday, March 16th. You may take them home after worship.
GRACE LADIES – Come join us this Tuesday, February 18th at 6pm for a short meeting and our annual tea party with guest speakers Mark & Kristin Matiasz who will share about their mission trip to Hungary. Grace Ladies and Social Ministries gave financial support to their trip. Hostesses are Lin Matiasz, Joyce Learned and Lorna Storey.
