EASTER FLOWERS: Today is the LAST day to place your order for Easter flowers.
CHOIR: Choir will practice our Holy Week AND post-Easter anthems in the balcony after worship today.
OISHEI CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL: Volunteers at Oishei Children’s Hospital visit patients and families with Comfort Carts that offer them the chance to choose free items to make their stay more comfortable. During April, we are accepting items that will help stock the carts. Needed items include things like activity books, crayons, small toys, kids card games, and toiletry items. A complete shopping list is available on the donation tables if you would like to participate. Jim Wolf volunteers weekly at Oishei and would be happy to answer any questions you may have about this project.
APRIL MISSION ENVELOPES are designated to support the construction of a new 25-bed WOMEN’S SHELTER in Niagara Falls, to be located in the Niagara Gospel Mission on Portage Road. This will be the first of its type in our city. Women will be able to receive clothing, food, and spiritual care in areas completely separate from the Mission’s existing men’s shelter. Demolition of various areas of the building is already underway in anticipation of construction beginning this year. Your donations will assist the Mission in moving forward with their plans in a timely manner. To donate, use your mission envelope during April or donate online under “monthly mission”.
COFFEE FUNDRAISER: Niagara Youth Endurers. Today through April 27. Your youth are selling coffee, tea and hot chocolate from New Day Coffee to help raise funds for their trip to New Orleans this summer. Pay by April 27th; orders will be in at the end of May (or sooner). Find a youth after church service.
TREICHLER GIFT CARDS – Being sold by our Grace Ladies until Sunday, April 27th. Sign-up sheet on glass case in chapel. Cost is $25 – please make check out to Treichlers and give to Alice Moll or a Grace Ladie. Cards will be available here at church on Sunday, May 4th – one week before Mother’s Day.
ANNUAL SPRING CLEANING is planned for Saturday, April 12th starting at 8am. We will be cleaning the sanctuary and chapel. We should be done by noon. Coffee and donuts will we provided. Please sign-up.
