JANUARY MISSION ENVELOPES are designated to support SLEEP IN HEAVENLY PEACE. This is a charity that builds and donates (for free) new beds, complete with linens and a pillow, to children that do not have a bed to sleep in. Their motto is “No child sleeps on the floor in our town.” Each bed costs $300 and all donations pay for needed materials–labor is donated by volunteers. Your donations will be designated to go directly to beds being constructed for children in the Niagara Falls School District. According to our contact from the District, they currently have a waiting list of 180 children, and the list is growing.
SAVE YOUR CARDS: Grace Ladies would appreciate donations of Christmas cards you plan to discard. There is a donation box located in the coat room by the parking lot entrance.
SOCIAL MINISTRIES will meet after worship next Sunday, January 11. New members are welcome to join us and enjoy lunch during the meeting. No reservations are needed.
THANK YOU for your generous donations to this year’s Giving Tree. Your gifts will be packed for delivery this week. Agencies that will benefit include Niagara Gospel Mission, Salvation Army, St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry, Potter’s Field, and Heart, Love, & Soul.
YOUR TURKEY & HAM DONATIONS were delivered prior to Christmas to help with free Christmas meals for those in need. A total of 46 turkeys and 9 hams were gifted this year to the Lord’s Day Dinner, Lighthouse Women & Children, Community Mission, and Salvation Army. Thank you for helping to feed those in need.
CHURCH COUNCIL will meet on Thursday January 15th at 6:40pm.
FREE BIBLES: Our congregation provides free Bibles for guests and neighbors who come through our doors for voting, Survivors’ Group meetings, VBS, Trunk or Treat, and many other events. Our supply is running low, and it’s time to restock. Each case of 40 is about $100. If you’d like to support this mission, please mark your gift “Bible Outreach” (for online: choose the Special Missions category first). Those who receive Bibles are very grateful!
2026 OFFERING ENVELOPES are on the table in the Chapel. Please check your name off the sheet once you have picked up your envelopes. If you do not have envelopes listed and would like a box please leave a note for Erin Anthony in the office.
2026 FLOWER CHART is now hanging in the narthex. Cost for a centerpiece is $50, or you can choose two vases at a cost of $64. When you sign up for a date, please find the altar flower order form outside either sanctuary entrance. Please complete the form and return to the church office no later than the Sunday week before your date.
