SIGN UP TODAY: Next Sunday we will celebrate another successful year of Christian education with our annual congregational picnic after worship. Please sign up on the glass case TODAY if you plan to attend so that we can be sure to purchase enough for everyone. Hotdogs, hamburgs, and drinks will be provided. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. All members and friends are invited to join in this fellowship opportunity.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Our summer Coffee Hour will begin on June 21 in the chapel after worship, and will continue through the summer. Please sign up on the glass case if you are willing to help by providing baked goods (homemade or purchased) or another treat. On July 26, a birthday cake will be provided to celebrate all members turning 80 or older in 2026.
TWO WEEKS REMAIN to donate to our spring mission project supporting SUMMIT LIFE CENTER in Niagara Falls. Tables are available in the narthex and chapel for donations of baby items such as clothes, blankets, diapers, wipes, and infant toiletries. If you prefer, there are also BABY BOTTLE BANKS available on the tables that can be used to donate money or checks (made out to Summit Life Center). Banks should be returned to Alice Moll or the church office by June 21. Summit supports young women and men facing unplanned pregnancies with free services, including counseling, parenting classes, support groups, community assistance referrals, and needed baby items.
JUNE MISSION ENVELOPES are designated to support Lutheran Church Charities (LCC) K9 Comfort Dog program. LCC’s golden retrievers are trained to interact with people who are suffering and in need. These special dogs open doors and create opportunities to share the mercy, compassion, and presence of Jesus during times of natural or man-made disasters such as floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, fires, and mass shootings. LCC never charges those they serve. This mission is supported by donations. Your donation will go directly to the training, care, and travel expenses of their K-9’s. GRACE LADIES FIELD TRIP: Meet at church at 9:30am this Tuesday, June 9th to carpool. Going to Grand Island – Orange Poppy Art Studio, Brick Oven (lunch) and Kelly’s Country Store. Making a mosaic picture frame – cost is $10 and payable at the studio. Sign-up sheet is on glass case in Chapel.
