ATTENDANCE SHEETS found in the bulletin assist us in making sure that all of our members are being cared for as needed. Please fill one out EACH WEEK and place it in the offering plate.
TWO SUNDAYS are still open on the sign up sheet to provide a snack for our coffee hour after worship. The sign up sheet is located on the glass case if you are able to help.
SUMMER MISSION PROJECT: Tables have been set up in the chapel and narthex to receive donations to our annual collection of school supplies and children’s underwear and socks. Needed supplies include (but are not limited to) notebooks, folders, crayons, markers, colored pencils, glue sticks, pens & pencils, scissors, and erasers. We also accept donations of socks and underwear, items that our children often go without because their family budgets cannot afford them. All donations will be distributed directly to students in need by teachers and school nurses in September.
AUGUST MISSION ENVELOPES will support WINGS FLIGHTS OF HOPE. Their pilots are on call 24/7 to volunteer their time and their planes to fly patients for medical treatments that are not available locally. This service is completely free to the patient. WINGS receives no government funding. They are supported completely by donations, which go toward the cost of fuel and plane maintenance. If you would like to help Wings Flights of Hope with their mission, place your mission envelope in the offering plate during August or donate online at www.gracenf.org by choosing “give now” and then “mission of the month”.
Calling ALL Ladies of Grace – Come join our Grace Ladies Annual Summer Picnic this Tuesday, August 4th at 5:30PM here at Grace. There is a sign-up sheet on glass case in Chapel. Bring a side dish, if able, to go with our hot dogs & hamburgs. (Thanks Doug & Randy for manning the grill.) Also, bring your mosaic picture frames that we made at Orange Poppy Art Studio on our June field trip to display for all to see and enjoy our “talent”.
