SALES HAVE STARTED: We are accepting donations of school and craft supplies, socks, and underwear for children in need in Niagara Falls. School supplies and clothing will be distributed directly to students by the teachers and nurses at Harry Abate Elementary School as they identify those who truly need assistance. Craft supplies will support Potter’s Field, as they meet with and mentor high risk children who do not have a stable adult in their life. Please remember this project as you do your shopping this summer.
NEXT SUNDAY is the last week to donate to our July mission envelopes designated for EIGHT DAYS OF HOPE (EDOH). This is a volunteer Christian organization that works throughout the United States to serve those affected by natural and human disasters. Their trained Rapid Response Teams have boots on the ground within 2-3 days and remain for a minimum of EIGHT DAYS, sharing the love of Christ, cleaning debris, salvaging personal belongings, and providing up to 8000 meals as well as shower and laundry facilities with their mobile trailers. They also work in depressed areas, donating repair work for homeowners in need. To support EDOH, place your mission envelope in the offering plate during July or donate online, choosing “Monthly Mission”.
CHURCH COUNCIL BOARD has the following positions up for election. Vice-President: Mark Andrews, Treasurer: Gary Krull and Board of Education: Lacey Bahr. The election will be held after service on Sunday, July 28th.
MEMBERSHIP SURVEY: A second membership survey has been mailed to those who did not respond to last year’s survey. If you did NOT receive a letter, it means that you responded last year and we already have your updated information. Nothing further needs to be done. If you DO receive a letter, please respond promptly so that we can finish updating our records as we move forward with the call process.
YOUTH TRIP: One year from now, 8 youth and 5 adults from 3 area churches will join thousands of youth from around the world in New Orleans, LA for the triennial LCMS Youth Gathering. Our area group has dubbed themselves the “Niagara Youth Endurers” (#TeamJesus). Those going from Grace are Daniel, John, and Lacey Bahr and Audrey Markel. Please pray for their preparations.

GRACE LADIES: Join us on Tuesday, July 23rd at the home of Alice Moll for pizza dinner at 5PM. Bring $3.00. We will cut our the Christmas Cards to make Christmas booklets. ALSO – Tuesday, August 6th is our Summer Picnic here at the church beginning at 5:15PM. Sign-up sheet is on the glass bookcase in the Chapel.
