TODAY after worship we will enjoy a picnic as we celebrate the start of another season of Christian education. Everyone–members and visitors of all ages–are welcome to stay and enjoy hamburgers, hotdogs, drinks, and a variety of side dishes, all for free! Hope to see everyone there!!
SOCIAL MINISTRIES: We will meet next Sunday, September 15, after worship. We’ve had several requests for assistance from our community. There are also several fall projects to discuss. Your help in making decisions is needed! New members are welcome to join. A light lunch is enjoyed during the meeting.
SEPTEMBER MISSION ENVELOPES This month’s special offerings go to St. John and Holy Ghost schools. Consider supporting our two local Lutheran schools with an over-the-top donation. Both schools provide high quality education that is Christ centered, and they keep tuition at about $4,000 per child. Can we as a congregation raise enough to pay one tuition?
GRACE LADIES: A special guest speaker will be at Grace Ladies on Tuesday, September 17th. Come join us as Wanda Smiley gives a presentation on “Spiritual Hydration”, including a hands-on project and some delicious hydration. Come at 6PM for a brief meeting followed by fellowship, food, and fun. Hostesses are Wendy Coleman and Jane Schulz.
