CHOIR: We will practice after today’s congregational meeting. We will be singing next Sunday with a practice after worship.
HURRICANES MILTON & HELENE AID: Our November mission envelopes are designated for hurricane aid through LCMS Disaster Response. Our LCMS Florida-Georgia and Southeastern Districts suffered extensive damage to homes, businesses, and churches. LCMS has numerous teams working in all areas as they continue to help the victims. Donations may be made through your November mission envelopes or online in November by choosing “monthly mission”.
NEXT SUNDAY is the last Sunday to donate to our Harvest Food Collection. Thank you for the generous donations that have been received so far for St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry on Military Road and the Salvation Army. There is a SHOPPING LIST available on the tables listing foods that are especially needed, but all donations are appreciated. Please be sure to CHECK EXPIRATION DATES, which should be good through at least the end of the year.
TURKEYS & HAMS: We will continue to accept donations of hams and frozen turkeys through December 15. They will be gifted soon to Niagara Falls agencies that will be providing free Thanksgiving and Christmas meals for our neighbors in need. They can be stored in our downstairs kitchen freezer. If you need help carrying, please ask an usher for assistance.
SAVE THE DATE: We will be decorating our sanctuary after worship on December 8. That is only 3 weeks from today! Please plan to stay if you are able. It doesn’t take long if we have enough help.
TWO WEEKS from Wednesday will be our first SIMPLE SUPPER of the Advent season. Simple Suppers will be held at 5:30 p.m. prior to Wednesday Advent services if we have enough willing helpers. If you can assist, please sign up on the schedule which will be found on the glass case after worship today.
