CHURCH OFFICE HOURS for both Christmas and New Year’s week will be Monday and Friday from 10am – 2pm.
PLEASE JOIN US after worship today in the chapel for snacks and fellowship. Take a few minutes to visit with our Sunday School students and your friends and enjoy pizza, cake, and various other goodies.
CHOIR REMINDER: We will be singing at this week’s 5 pm Christmas Eve service. Ross will be available in the balcony by 4:40 pm for anyone who would like a warm up before the service.
ADVENT GIVING TREE: We are still accepting donations for our Advent Giving Trees until January 5. Agencies we are assisting this year include Heart, Love, & Soul, Potter’s Field, Salvation Army, and Niagara Gospel Rescue Mission. If you wish to participate, you can take a tag from the tree, purchase the item listed, and return it unwrapped to the table.
DECEMBER MISSION ENVELOPES are supporting HELP & HOPE FOR THE HOMELESS, INC., a local charity founded by Grace member John Loss. This charity is focused on helping a homeless or struggling individual or family through job training and associated skills. If you would like to support their work as they make a difference with their work, please donate during the month of December. John will be happy to answer any questions you may have about his charity and their purpose.
TURKEYS & HAMS: A total of 57 turkeys and hams were donated to support free Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners being offered in Niagara Falls to those in need. They were delivered to The Lord’s Day Dinner (at the VFW Post 917), Lighthouse Women’s & Children’s, Community Mission, and Salvation Army. Many thanks to all who donated, as well as our small army that helped with deliveries, including John Loss, Neil Stenzel, Jane Schulz, Katelyn & Maisy Pantano, Wendy Coleman, Blaine & Sherry Cassatt, Lizzie & Chasin Washburn, and Dick & Marla Crawford. Thank you also to our special shoppers Ross Folmsbee & Elaine Karwath, as well as Kathy Majka for her Thrivent Action Team grant.
CHRISTMAS CARDS: Please don’t throw out your Christmas cards when you are finished with them. There will be a box on the glass case in the chapel to collect them. They are used by Grace Ladies to make Christmas booklets for our homebound and other members.
NEXT SUNDAY’S READINGS are Exodus 13:1-3a, 11-15, Colossians 3:12-17, and Luke 2:22-40.
There will be a VOTERS MEETING on Sunday January 5th immediately after church to vote on the contract for our Part-time Pastor.
2025 OFFERING ENVELOPES are on the table in the Chapel. Please check your name off the sheet once you have picked up your envelopes. If you do not have envelopes listed and would like a box please leave a note for Erin Anthony in the office.
