DISASTER RELIEF is still needed after flooding and earthquakes have caused damage to many areas of the northeastern United States–Our LCMS Eastern District disaster relief budget has been called on to help this nearby region. They have provided help to several congregations affected by the recent earthquake and hurricane flooding that occurred in New York, Pennsylvania, and New England. We have designated our Special Mission envelopes for October and November to help our neighbors recover from the damage they experienced.

Lutheran Campus Ministry needs Dinner Help in support with its missions to college students. The first Wednesday of the month we would need you to provide a dinner for about 25 people before our evening worship. It will need to be there by 5:45pm each Wednesday. You can cook it there or bring it. Other Wednesdays we still need dinner, but only for up to 10 people. If you could stay during the 6-7pm hour, that would be great but you wouldn’t need to be there the whole night. Pick a Wednesday and contact Jeff at 833-6950 or by email office@lcmwny.org
