VBS Mission Project – our project this year was to collect school supplies to be delivered to Niagara Falls school in September to help children in need. We will continue to accept school supplies until Labor Day for anyone who wishes to donate. There are tables available in the narthex and the chapel areas.
Special Mission envelopes – for August and September have been designated for the education assistance funds at St. John and Holy Ghost schools. These funds help families in our area and our
congregation afford Christian education as an option for their children. We have several families that are connected to these schools. We also have two members on the faculty, with Jane Schulz at St. John and Marla Crawford at Holy Ghost. Both of these schools provide quality education and are consistently given high rankings by Business First.
Social Ministries project for July & August – our annual collection of underwear and socks. These are items that are in need for the fall and winter months, especially by the school aged children in our Niagara Falls inner city schools. Our school nurses truly appreciate this project. There is a box available in the narthex and in the chapel for your donations. All sizes are welcome. Children’s sizes are delivered to our inner city schools, and adult sizes are welcomed by the Community Mission.
Part Time Job – Holy Ghost Lutheran School is looking for an adult who loves children to fill a part time before and after school position. If you are interested please call Holy Ghost School at 731-3030.
