THIS SATURDAY is Trunk or Treat at Grace from 3 – 4:30 PM rain or shine (held indoors if raining). IF YOU ARE PARTICIPATING, PLEASE PLAN TO BE HERE by 2:45 PM. Donations can still be dropped off prior to Saturday. Bring your kids, grandchildren, and neighbors and enjoy trick or treating, games, snacks, and freebies. The Niagara Falls Fire Department will be joining us with a truck!
HARVEST FOOD COLLECTION: Our mission project to help St. Vincent de Paul food pantry will continue until November 20. All non-perishable food donations are appreciated. However, because of supply chain shortages and inflation, certain items are especially needed this year, including canned green beans & corn, canned peaches, pears, and mandarin oranges, ramen noodles, and cereals. Thank you to those who are helping our local neighbors in need.
TURKEYS & HAMS: We will be accepting donations of turkeys and hams through mid-December. Please consider if you are able to support this project to help the Salvation Army, Community Mission, Lighthouse Women & Children, and the Lord’s Day Dinner provide holiday dinners for our neighbors in need. Your gifts can be stored in the downstairs kitchen freezer. If you need help carrying, please ask an usher for assistance.
THANK YOU to those who donated to our door offering for hurricane relief. Your generosity resulted in donations of $468. With funds added from our Social Ministries’ budget and Thrivent matching funds at $1 for every $2 donated, a TOTAL OF $1080 was gifted to assist those whose lives have been affected so dramatically.
BEYOND THE SURFACE Christian education continues this Wednesday, October 26th at 10:00am. We will be looking at the following verses: Revelation 14:6-7, Romans 3:19-28, and John 8:31-36. Printed copies of the verses are on the shelf outside the office door.
GRACE LADIES will be selling Save Around Buffalo books for $25 after worship starting today October 23rd and ending December 11th. Stop by the chapel or narthex to check it out. They will also be having a bake sale in the Ladies Lounge after worship on Sunday, November 20th. Stop by for some homemade breads and other baked goods.
