TODAY is the last Sunday to donate to the January Mission, ORPHAN GRAIN TRAIN. If you would like to support their work, please clearly mark an envelope and place your donation in the offering plate. Donations can also be made online through Tuesday by choosing “monthly mission” at www.gracenf.org. In February we will be supporting Young Life. Watch next week’s bulletin for more details.
SPRING BOUQUETS to benefit Niagara Hospice can be ordered by signing up on the glass case. Cost is $10 (please make payment to Jane Schulz). Deadline to sign up is February 12. Bouquets will be placed on the altar on March 12 and will be available for you to take home after worship.
NEXT SUNDAY, February 5, Pastor Bahr has volunteered to hold a short, informal demonstration of how our AED (automated external defibrillator) works. Anyone can use an AED. It is surprisingly easy to use and does not require medical knowledge or physical strength. We never know when an emergency will occur. Plan to spend a few minutes in the chapel after church that Sunday to see how simple it could be to save a life.
NEXT SUNDAY we will begin accepting donations of TOILET TISSUE for our annual project to benefit the clients served by Heart, Love, and Soul. Toilet tissue cannot be purchased with government benefit cards. It is one of the items that is most requested and appreciated by our neighbors who are struggling financially. Please consider supporting this opportunity to show our love to those in need in our city in a way that helps them maintain their dignity.
The 2023 FLOWER CHART is now hanging in the narthex. Please note the increased cost for 2023: single centerpiece is $49, or two vases for $64. When you sign up for a date, please find the altar flower order form outside either sanctuary entrance. Please complete the form and return to the church office no later than the Sunday before your date.
