ATTENDANCE SHEETS found in the bulletin will assist us in making sure that all of our members are being cared for as needed during our vacancy. Please fill them out EACH WEEK and place them in the offering plate.
DONATIONS to our May mission are designated to support the LORD’S DAY DINNER OF NIAGARA FALLS. Beginning 30 years ago, a Niagara Falls resident, Yvonne Davis, began serving free holiday take-out dinners through the side door of her home to anyone in need. Along with her husband, Matt, and other family members and volunteers, her mission has expanded to serving annual Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas dinners. Many of the dinners are now held at the VFW on Seneca Avenue because of the numbers they are serving, but this past Easter dinner was again served out of their side door along with an Easter basket for the children, showing how personal this calling continues to be to the Davis family. Your donations will help Yvonne and Matt provide the food needed to serve our neighbors, as well as the other items they often provide through the year such as hygiene products and clothing. If you would like to support the Lord’s Day Dinner, please use your mission envelope or donate online under “monthly mission” during May.
CHOIR will have a short practice after worship next Sunday in the balcony. We are singing on May 21.
SOCIAL MINISTRIES will meet in the chapel today after worship. Lunch will be shared during the meeting. New members are always welcome to stay.
