ATTENDANCE SHEETS found in the bulletin will assist us in making sure that all of our members are being cared for as needed during our vacancy. Please fill them out EACH WEEK and place them in the offering plate.
TODAY–YOUR HELP IS NEEDED: We will decorate our sanctuary for the Advent & Christmas seasons after worship today. Help is needed to put up our trees, nativity, banners, and other decorations. Please consider staying to lend a hand.
CHOIR: We will practice this Wednesday after the Advent service. New members are welcome!
TWO WEEKS FROM TODAY: On December 17, our Sunday School students will be participating in worship in various ways. We invite all students, families, and Grace members and friends to stay after worship on that day to enjoy pizza, cake, and other goodies in the chapel.
PLEASE NOTE: Bible Class and Sunday School will not be held on Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve.
TURKEYS & HAMS STILL NEEDED: Your turkey donations were delivered to help provide Thanksgiving dinner to those in need at the Community Mission, Salvation Army, and Lighthouse Women’s & Children. We will continue to accept donations until December 17 to help these agencies provide a hot Christmas meal to our unhoused and needy neighbors.
ADVENT GIVING TREE: Our Giving Trees are available in the narthex and chapel. They are decorated with tags listing items needed by local agencies that work with our neighbors in need. If you would like to participate in this mission, please take a tag from the tree, purchase the item listed, and return it unwrapped to the tree table.
CANDY FUNDRAISER: Our youth are selling Fowler’s candy bars after worship as part of our “Warm Hearts, Warm Toes” boiler fundraiser. There are a variety of flavors at a cost of $2 per bar. They will make great stocking stuffers (or snacks for Santa).
DECEMBER MISSION ENVELOPES will support HELP & HOPE FOR THE HOMELESS, INC., a local charity founded by Grace member John Loss. This charity is focused on helping a homeless or struggling individual or family through job training and associated skills. If you would like to support their work as they make a difference in our community, place your mission envelope in the offering plate during December, or donate online by choosing “monthly mission”. Feel free to speak to John if you have questions.
PLEASE SAVE your Christmas cards for a future project. There is a collection box located in the coat room near the parking lot entrance.
FREE: File of Life forms are available on the glass case courtesy of the Niagara County Office of the Aging. After you fill out your emergency contacts and pertinent health information, one file can be placed on your refrigerator and the smaller one can be carried with you. They will provide critical information to medical personnel and first responders in an emergency.
GRACE LADIES Christmas Poinsettia sale is currently going on until Sunday, December 10th. Order forms are at both sanctuary entrances, please turn in your order to the church office no later than the 10th. The cost is $9 a piece.
