ATTENDANCE SHEETS found in the bulletin will assist us in making sure that all of our members are being cared for as needed during our vacancy. Please fill them out EACH WEEK and place them in the offering plate.
DEADLINE IS TODAY: Today is the last day to sign up to attend YOUNG LIFE’S annual fundraising dinner at Classics V Conference & Banquet Center on March 14. There is a signup sheet on the glass case. We will be reserving a table (or two) for Grace members and friends. There is no charge for the dinner, but donations are appreciated. Please see Dick Crawford if you have questions.
CHOIR: The choir will practice in the balcony after worship today and every Sunday for the remainder of Lent, with the exception of next Sunday when there is a Social Ministries meeting. We are scheduled to sing for Good Friday at 6:30 PM and for the 10:30 AM Easter service. New members are welcome and needed.
NEXT SUNDAY the BOARD OF SOCIAL MINISTRIES will meet after worship. Lunch is shared during the meeting. New members are welcome to attend. Reservations are not needed.
THANK YOU: Last year, our toilet tissue mission project resulted in donations of 645 rolls. Because of your generous donations, this year we were able to donate 825 rolls to Heart, Love, and Soul. They are very thankful for this gift, since toilet tissue is not something they commonly receive. It will be appreciated by those they serve as it is distributed over the next few months.
MARCH MISSION ENVELOPES are designated toward our Grace Benevolence Fund. This is a small fund that is reserved to provide emergency assistance to members or friends of Grace in times of critical need. Examples of past use include such things as paying an overdue bill to keep a family’s heat or electric working, or buying enough food to last until their next paycheck, or purchasing enough gasoline to allow transportation to necessary medical care. During our vacancy, requests for assistance are handled confidentially by the congregation President and/or head of the Board of Elders. Mission envelope donations during March will bolster this fund, which currently has a low balance.
