THE CHURCH OFFICE will be closed from August 11th through August 18th.
THREE WEEKS REMAIN: We are accepting donations of school and craft supplies, socks, and underwear until Labor Day weekend for children in need in Niagara Falls. School supplies and clothing will be distributed directly to students by the teachers and nurses at Harry Abate Elementary School as they identify those who truly need assistance. Craft supplies will support Potter’s Field, as they meet with and mentor high risk children who do not have a stable adult in their life. Please remember this project as you do your shopping this summer.
AUGUST MISSION ENVELOPES are designated to support WINGS FLIGHTS OF HOPE. Medical air transport normally costs in excess of $15,000 per flight. Wings is a local, all-volunteer group of pilots and support staff who provide FREE air transportation to patients in need of medical attention at a specialized location. These are patients who cannot travel on commercial flights because of their medical needs. The pilots at Wings donate their time, planes, and all expenses. Please help us support Wings with your August mission envelopes, or donate online under “monthly mission”.
CHOIR will be getting back together soon. New members are needed. If you are interested, please speak to Ross Folmsbee or Maye Smith (our organist) with questions.
CAN YOU HELP? There are a couple of open Sundays remaining to provide snacks for our Coffee Hour. The sign up sheet is located on the glass case. Our last Coffee Hour will be on Labor Day weekend (September 1). Our RALLY DAY picnic is planned for September 8.
