Announcements for Sunday, June 23rd

HELP IS NEEDED–If you are able to help with snacks for our Summer Coffee Hour, please sign up on the glass case.  Donations are not limited to home baked goods.  Any type of snack you wish to share will be appreciated.  And thank you to Erika Tuscher who has agreed to make sure there is coffee available each week!

TODAY IS THE LAST CHANCE to donate to DISASTER AID FOR STORM VICTIMS.  Your donations will support LCMS Disaster Response, which has been responding to the numerous destructive storms and flooding across the Midwest and Southern states in recent weeks.  Thrivent will be matching $1 for each $2 donated.  Thank you for your support as LCMS continues to assist the victims of these storms.

REMINDER:  Please return your BABY BOTTLE BANKS which support Summit Life Center to the office or Alice Moll as soon as possible.

JULY MISSION ENVELOPES are designated for EIGHT DAYS OF HOPE (EDOH).  This is a volunteer Christian organization that works throughout the United States to serve those affected by natural and human disasters.  Their Rapid Response Teams have boots on the ground within 2-3 days and remain for a minimum of EIGHT DAYS, sharing the love of Christ, cleaning debris, salvaging personal belongings, and providing up to 8000 meals as well as shower and laundry facilities with their mobile trailers.  They also work in depressed areas, donating repair work for homeowners in need.  They responded to BUFFALO after the TOPS mass shooting, and will be back in Buffalo this month to assist families still dealing with the after effects of this tragedy.  To support EDOH, place your mission envelope in the offering plate during July or donate online, choosing “Monthly Mission”.

SUMMER OFFICE HOURS begin this week, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am-2pm and 1st Sundays from 9:30am – 12:30pm.

LWML ZONE SUMMER PICNIC Saturday, July 20th; 12-3 PM. Bring a dish to share and neutral NB-3 month onesies for the Compass Care mission collection. All LCMS women are members of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. Contact Lacey Bahr to RSVP.
